The dryer costs $399.00 with a $150.00 core....

I think I'll change the $30.00 element cartridge first.

    Crumps sake,I don't blame you....

I think I only spent around 130.00 when I had mine replaced,...And when the element in the new one crapped out the sent out a service truck to get me rolling,...covered by the warranty,....

I would only replace an AD-9 as a complete unit, not this style, the cartridge is what he only needs. AD-9 are the ones with bolts around the base that has to be removed, disassembled and rebuilt and reinstalled. In a lot of cases it is cheaper and faster just to replace the whole thing.

I just Bought the ADSP cartridge. $33.98 with tax from Amarillo Truck Center. Unfortunately they didn't have the wrench too sell me so I can change it.

Not a problem though. I was due for a PM any how, so I went to Truck King in Amarillo. They put the cartridge on with no charge as they PMed my truck & trailer.

My old Cartridge was full of water! Have no idea when it was serviced last... if ever!
Below is a pic after they took it off!

I was going to wait until I got home & change it in my driveway. But decided that it wasn't worth worrying about. So I took care of it today!

I have no clue! While researching my dryer, I read that it was a bi-annual thing. But I believe for 30 dollars, I'm going to make it a annual thing!
