RUN FAR AWAAAY! This company has a ####ty contract with Wal-Mart where when you deliver there, you will wait a minimum of 4 hours to get unloaded with NO DETENTION! This company doesn’t like to pay their driver layovers and reimbursements. Their equipment (reefers) breakdown ALL THE TIME! The company’s owner (Nik) does not take care of his equipment at all. You will mostly go east coast, sitting in traffic. And their dispatchers sucks ###! No social skills, thick accents, and won’t reply to things regarding safety issues with the truck. They only replay to things about a load.

With a name like BENJI Freight (probably Illinois plates on the trucks and trailers) I wouldn't really think of them as a stand up outfit to begin with.

Benji Freight can go to HELL! They start off with all smiles and he-he/ha-ha then once you pay off your $2,500 escrow ($250/week), their attitudes change, you get ######## runs where they disregard your circadian rhythm. All they want you to do is GO GO GO. The yard sucks! The trucks are yellow (ugly color), and ALL their trucks (from what I checked) have the “check engine” light on the dashboard because of some aftermarket bullshid they added to all their trucks.

You will be 1099, and will be unknowingly signing on as a lease purchase/owner operator but will be treated like a disposable company driver. Trust me. I talked to the other drivers there when we bumped at shippers and receivers and it’s the same thing. They only pay you for miles, not detention nor layovers. The owner always talk about how they have no money and can’t do pay increases. And the owner does not have a good code of ethics.

Trust me! Stay away from that company! They will make up anything to take money out your escrow when you leave.

He took the time to get on here and warn others. That's worth something.

Don’t feel for me. I take it as a lesson to take with me for the future. That company is poorly ran.

Melrose Park,Stone Park and Schiller Park-all “esteemed” areas for 1099 scumbag operations in Cook County.
I would’ve settled for a tornado hitting those areas rather than O’Hare and Elgin!

Tell me about it. It’s the Eastern European Mecca for transportation companies. Those people (NOT ALL OF THEM) are ethically trash!
