Best cell phone provider with nationwide coverage

I have Tmobile. I considered moving my line to Verizon but its just too expensive to get the same services I have now, 5 gb with tethering/mobile hotspot privileges. Besides its rare that I end up in a total deadzone. When I expressed my displeasure with Tmobile customer service hooked us up with 2 upgrades for my line and my wife's line. I got an HTC Sensation and she got a Samsung Galaxy S2.

 

thats the problem,the bigger the wireless carrier the more youll pay for essentially the same thing,or less.

w/ verizon id be paying close to 200, and it isnt possible to get unlimited data...its a nobrainer. the longer im w/ sprint, the more things i get for free,loyalty pays.

 

I am still considering Sprint because I want the iPhone. The little company I have now has amazing coverage (because they partner with every other little company out there) and they have the iPhone, its just a matter if they will drop us once we move out of our local area. Not sure really which way to go between the two. Buy new phones with a company then possibly get dropped, or go with a company where it would be a local area where I live. Kind of like being between a rock and a hard place.

 

pretty sure every company now has iphones which arent as amazing as some people make them out to be. Plus you can get an iphone and make it work with any company.

 

Not completely true, I have unlimited with Verizon...granted it is grandfathered in from a previous contract.

 

I don't even pay much above 200 and I have 2 phones with unlimited internet on it and an air card.

 

Most will work around the interstate system and bigger cities. It's when you get off the beaten path is when you notice more. I had Sprint 2 years and when I bought the house I'm in now it didn't work here. So I switched to Verizon. Verizon does have the best coverage, but you pay for it. After that contract run out I switched to StraightTalk which you can get 3 different coverages depending on the zip code you buy the phone in. CDMA is on the Verizon network and I get unlimited for $45 and no contract. I've been the happiest with them. If you go that route, make sure you get a CDMA phone. GSM is ATT and just they added CDMA-S which is Sprint. All are cheaper than the big names and you use their network.

 

I have AT&T with a grandfathered unlimited plan. It's a joke though. If I go over 3Gigs they degrade my signal so that I can't stream vids off Netflix or YouTube. They also are trying to charge me for off network use. Which I am a little confused about. How can I be off of AT&T network if my phone always says I'm on their network? It should tell me I'm roaming. But then also if I am using towers that are not owned by AT&T but they are paying for the use, it's still part of their network. Bunch of BS in my opinion. They are just mad because they made a bad deal with tre unlimited instead of charging by the gig like they do for minutes.

Uh....I have unlimited wireless with ATT...
They're trying to get me to upgrade to a 4G card and 4G phone...Problem is that I have a biz account with them...ATT limits biz (4G) wireless to 2.5 gigs a month.....

 

You want excellent coverage and no drop-outs?
