Hey guys, I'm trying to figure out what company would be best to look into to get my CDL and work for that allows a 50lb lab. If anyone has some experience or knowledge I would appreciate the help.

I think Prime Inc. allows a pet that weighs that much.

Pass your CDL exam Once your training is finished, you’ll return to a Prime training center to take your state CDL exam. Those who pass on their first try will receive a $250 bonus.Last edited: Mar 2, 2020

I'd need like a $5,000 deposit for an animal like that.

Wilson Logistics allows up to two dogs per truck, as far as I know there's no weight limit, and no deposit.

During training I am not aware of any companies that are going to allow pets for student/training drivers. Most trainers are also not allowed to have pets on the truck when they are training people. Also think about what would happen if you fail or quit while on the road. No dogs on buses, rental cars or most air lines either.. getting home with your pet could be near impossible. Take only what you can carry on a pretty decent walk (Duffle bags or backpacks are good because you can carry them on your back and have the use of your hands)... or are not very fond of... good luck. Once you clear training and have your own truck, some of this still applies. Always have a plan and money on hand to get you and your fur kid home safely.
