In addition to the book you can pick up at the DMV, are there any books/guides that you used that helped you study for the Hazmat test?

Theres practice tests on this site
Pretty much the same questions as the dmv test.
Keep taking the tests til its embedded in your head.
When at the dmv you can skip questions your not sure of the answer, I think its 30 questions and you need 24 right

I used the practice tests on this site and they were pretty much spot-on to the actual exam. Better than everything else I had come across

I googled for hazmat practice tests for my state. I found they were closer to the actual test questions.

That's right. Scroll to the top of this page and click on "CDL Practice Tests" and there's the questions and answers.
Can also get an app for your phone; Google for "CDL Genie Practice Tests"

I just used the manual and apps to pass all my exams. I haven't done the Hazmat yet, but after using the apps, I only missed like 4 questions over all 4-5 of the tests I took.

One of my driving instructors discouraged the use of apps, saying they don't work. lol. Those apps helped me get a 50/50 on the general exam. Hazmat is probably going to be no different.

Hazmat is so easy to pass since its multi choice questions i sat for the test and passed with out even studying. Try googling it you'll only get like 100 million responses.

The test is actually very simple , what's in the handbook is all you need to study.
30 thirty easy multiple choice questions.

Yeah, most likely. Read the manual for the best understanding in what goes on in the field, without actually doing it. But if you need to pass a test, practice taking it. Had to learn to do that when I got into computers. The A+ study book was about 1200 pages. There's no way I could pass a test on all that material just reading the book. There's too much there. So I read the book to learn the job I wanted to do, but after I read it, I just used practice tests after that. And after all of that, once I got my first job, I still had no clue what I was doing until I started doing it.
