    Finally did the thing —

My exhaust cover didn’t fit the stack — tape worked in a pinch.

13-6” tall. 10-7” wide. 73” overall length. 113k gross with full tanks.

Joystick control Hitachi 370 wheel loader. I about wanted to drive the #### thing into the bay at Dundalk. What a pain to load. Learned more in the few short days I had that loader than in the few months loading smaller freight on 5 axles.

    Merry Christmas, TTR.

@stwik what caused the pain? Other than the sensitive joysticks. Just curious

driven many wheel loaders off of trailers and around customer yards — first time I’ve ever had to load one at a port and it’s also the biggest one I had to load.

between that and the joystick steering I was in some pain. And it sure looked ugly watching me trying to center it.

You have probably already figgered this out, but I have found the best way to load these is get centered in the seat, look straight down between the tires and use those 2 tie-down points as a reference with the trailers center rail. Piece of cake and better than having some fool guiding you...

I painted a 6” wide section front to back in the center of my flatbed, thinking seriously of doing the same with my lowboy. Many don’t have that option since they don’t own the trailer though…..

I have found a Go Pro linked to my phone helps me get things loaded easier when you can't see enough I have it set up on a magnetic mount so I can put I were I need it
