Hi all. Newcomer here...although I'm two months shy of a year!!
I've been digging it all thus far....there are some blech moments of course but what doesn't have these?
Anyhow, I've been a woman in trades for most of my working life and some friends have been trying to convince me for years to start writing about my experiences--between being real dang busy and not believing that it could really be of interest to anyone, I haven't bothered.

But, as I consider many things, this and that....I Decided that if I'm really intent on getting some of those books began about my life or a fictional somebody similar-no time like the present.

I'm sure I'll offend a few....maybe turn a few people off right away....and maybe give a certain giggle or two. And if encouraging more women to take the leap and get into the trades--any trades--happens then all the better. There's nothing more head shaking and tiresome to hear 'the trades' complain about labor shortage when half of the population hasn't been encouraged at a young enough age to consider it and therefore get the learning started sooner and the physical strength built up earlier.
