Just make sure to clean the other ones too don't want the bad one to stick out kind of like a red flag.

It'll be dry before you even get to the inspector.

I just noticed oil on one of mine. Cheap Monroe’s. Less than a year old. Not many miles either. That’s the 3 rd and last time for Monroe’s. Dealer says Freightliner shocks are Gabriel’s, I thought so, though others on here stated they were Some other brand.Always had good service with the Gabriel’s. Either way, don’t waste your money on Monroe’s. Despite the larger piston and blah blah blah. Junk! Never thought about it being a violation. Too busy replacing brakes this week. Lol

Monroe and Gabriel both have a cheap model that won't last a year and a more expensive model that is decent quality. Sachs make a decent shock. Personally i like the premium road kings on the steers and the silver line on the drives and trailer but i understand the high cost can shy many away.

I’ve had good luck with the Gabriel gas SLX. The fleetline is neck and neck with the Monroe.

Those KW drive shock mounts aren't the best set up. Keep them tight (unlike pic) or it will egg out the hole. Pain to do without being able to get impact on it.
