Does any one know of a bluetooth trucker headset that is amplified? Either my Samsung phone, or my Poly 4310 headset is limiting the volume for my own "safety". I know how these companies get the balls to dictate to us what volume we can use. Any ideas? I have the settings cranked to the max, the volume on the phone and headset maxed I don't know what else to do.

Pull down menu > settings > sound and vibration > sound quality and effects > adapt sound.

I've found it's limited, and none of the apps that claim to raise volume above normal settings. actually do anything

Sorry I couldn't offer more help. It actually USED to be good, but over the years they limit it too much because of doctors blaming the phones/headsets not the users.

I've found that your best way to get more volume is to go back to using wired headphones.

One way I got better volume was to use a custom EQ setting that boosts the high frequency side of the spectrum. I don't know if this will override the nany settings to protect your ears. Is your headset pretty new?

Yes it is pretty new. I did the EQ thing but I don't know if that is just for media volume or if it affects phone volume as well

I used Blue Parrot headsets for ten years.
Worked great in noisy environments, like a truck.
Also stood right beside a running grain auger, engine had no muffler. I could still talk to dispatch and they couldn’t even tell I was outside the cab.

I agree my Blue Parrot 250 is loud enough for me to use while wearing ear plugs AND still hear calls & media at sufficient volume. My Blue Parrot is 10 years old. It cost $100 in reward points.
