Booking loads myself and having a dispatcher?

Newer O/O with authority and wondering is it fine to book my own loads and use dispatcher during times I'm having a hard time filling my gaps?

I book my own loads, print invoices, sign documents, use transflo on my Ipad, and never have to use a truckstop and I get all that done myself. A dispatcher is bout as useful as a poopy flavored Popsicle.

 

I save all files, including invoices in case someone tries to screw me over I got documents to prove.

 

While you are paying your dispatcher to do nothing go ahead and send me a check too. I'll PM my address.

Seriously, you don't need a dispatcher. Save your money, do it all yourself. There's plenty of time sitting in the truck to do all the bookkeeping. You still even have time to waste time on forums.
