I would very much appreciate some info on net income per 100K miles/yr driving (via private message of course). I currently have a pretty good gig as a company driver netting about 55K/yr but driving ca. 135K/miles/yr. The drawbacks to this position is the time away from home and the inability to bring my kids with me on occasion. I would really like to cut back to 100K/miles/yr and be able to net the same or more income. Thanks for any input.

    Criteria: Van
    Location: central NC
Truck: pay cash for an older truck
    Expenses: ca. 10K/yr truck upkeep/Equipment
Perk: Friends with 2 really great mechanics to aid in truck issues; certainly have no problems cutting speed down to save on fuel when that option is available

sure you don't want to have this in "ask an owner operator"?

all this is showing is one way to break even.
