    TripleSix you nailed it!! Since I entered this business I've always believed ones time is never given enough value. Asked to put a dollar amount on time most wouldn't know where to start then under cut themselves terribly. Excellent post!!

    A little more info on this scenario......we do have direct ship customers on both ends. The issue(s) are timing and consistency for the most part. Logistics plays a limited role as well.

    There used to be a decent looking day cab fleet near me that seemed to be building a good business, They had one really pimped out big sleeper truck that never left town, really hardly left the shop.
    Anyway after a few yrs and a few DOT tickets to a runofthemill day cab dragging a dump trailer, Some DOT officer somewhere started asking why does a day cab keep getting written half way across the country from their shop!!!???? After awhile they figured out that they where putting a Fat Bale or three in the middle of the load!!!!
    Owner went to jail and Overnight a bunch of drivers needed to find a new job.
