The "old days" are in a slow painful death spiral. Soon the "real" old truck stop will be a thing of the past.

 

That sucks…

 

A recent Google review claims it is being replaced with a town pump....

 

Town pump, with truck island is just up the street. Not well rated. Seems that they have a lot of issues at that place. Also not much parking.

Truth is the J is old, outdated and is in need of a lot of repairs and upgrades. They do have a fair amount of parking. About the only thing going for it right now. Just a guess, the cost of bringing it up to a more modern location is exorbitant.

Be interesting to see what becomes of the place. Probably will be bladed.

 

That doesn’t mean much. Town Pump owns truckstops across the interstate or road from each other in Laurel, Rocker, and Great Falls.
