Does anyone else have a bunk heater? I have a 07 Columbia that I purchased back in May and they said it came with a bunk heater which I assume is the little black box under the bunk. I didn't really pay to much attention to it. But I think it would be nice to have a lil heat blowing without the truck running........I don't see any wires coming from it...how does this thing work? Would I control it with the bunk controls??? I assume I need to take it to freightliner and have it hooked up.........

Little black box heater is diesel fired.

I don't know LOL...it has wires coming out of the rear of it.,......Its a long black box with holes throughout the box...

does it have 3/4" or 5/8" hose going into it from under the cab.
-
That would help. -
Do you have an apu? If it is electric without an apu it would kill the batteries before your 10 hr break was up.
