When ever I spend a prolonged period of time in my sleeper with the heat on I get sinus headaches. I'm pretty sure it's because I'm drying out. (Though dust build up probably isn't helping) any tips for raising humidity in the bunk?

Wet a towel and place it around the vent so the air will go near it. The outbound air will pick up the moist in the towel and distribute it around the bunk.

Yes a moist towel . After taking a shower i hang my towel up in my bunk and if its really wet it will fog the windows and give u nice humidity and keep ur skin moist as well

I found keeping the heat down and popping the vents in the bunk open a little helps, if you have them.
You get a constant flow and change in fresh air, which includes humidity.
If you use cab heat and turn the bunk heater off it might help a little.

I pulled a few trips for a buddy of mine, truck had the biggest bunk and every option available including an Espar furnace, but it didn't have vents in the bunk.
I always felt like crap driving that truck because of dry stagnant air.

Brought my arctic sleeping bag with me, shut the truck off, cracked the windows a bit for fresh air, turned on the auto start feature that fired the truck up if the engine got cold or the batteries got weak, would warm the engine and charge the batteries then shut off, was the only way I could get a restful sleep in that truck.

Give this a shot, ice cream dish filled with water & soaked paper towels. I'm up in the frozen north this weekend so I'm thinking outside is gonna be dry too.

I have a oil defuser/humidifier that plugs into the inverter. It's small and will last about 6 hours. On top of the moisture benefits. I can add certain essential oils as needed.

Drink plenty of fluids. What I do is turn the truck defrost on low speed while I run the APU for AC or use the bunk heater.

One thing you can do also is sleep with a comforter over your head. This traps the moisture where you need it. I recently learned this when I was sick and could not breathe through my nose well. I tried just breathing through my mouth which quickly dries out mouth and throat which eventually caused me to start coughing. Once I discovered sleeping with the covers over my head trapped the moisture I could sleep better mouth breathing.

Yea i have one of those as well. Works good and the cedar oil leaves a nice fresh scent. Not too strong or over powerful either

Edit: if your looking for good quality oils try Laguna Moon. Priced really good and %100 therapeutic quality. Like a 1/3rd of the price as young living

I put water in a little bowl in front of the vent, it's amazing how much water is actually used. Half the bowl gone in the morning depending on how hot you have the temp.

P.S - don't get up in the middle of the night and kick the bowl, it's a brain fart moment.
