    Let me get this straight.
2 Weeks ago you posted that an expdite load board offered you over .06 cents per mile ($700 for 102 miles) and you countered and got $.10 per mile ($1100 for 102 miles)?:biggrin_2556:

    WE NEED TO TALK!

    PLEASE PM ME!!!

Its not something that you get always, just occsionally works out that way. Two years ago I got a call after posting my truck in Miami, broker offered me 3.65/mi from Miami too Minneapolis. Doesnt happen often, but sometimes the sun shines in your direction.

Interesting the size of some of these run on sentiences (notice the period at the end where the subject changes). Makes it hard to read as the thoughts if they just blend in together, over, and over and over!:biggrin_2556:

You just have to get used to how Bayou Hotshot types his posts. After you get used to it, it comes easier.

Now tell me what the shipper would think if they knew their broker would willingly withhold their load being shipped just because they're not making what they want on it? And then blame it on "truck shortage" or "driver shortage" or "rate's too low" when the broker is probably getting $1,200 for that load, and only wants to pay $700 for it.

If these shippers knew how their brokers are behaving, they would think twice.

There doesn't seem to be any accountability from brokers to their shippers. Don't these shippers know what's going on, are they that oblivious?? Or do they know the game that's being played and are just willing to take it?

LOL I think that might actually be even worse than before. But don't worry about it, if anyone can't understand what they read, then they probably shouldn't be reading in the first place. Kinda like driving.

Pretty sure he found someone to take it for the $700. All he would have to do is drive over to the truck stops in Baytown and wave a couple hundred around. Someone there would be desperate enough to do it for fuel money plus $20.
