Well, not all of us are financially able to dive right into the O/O thing and buy a truck and trailer.... At least, I wasnt. Leasing may be more expensive sometimes but atleast there isnt as much commitment. If it dont work for you, you turn it in and go along your merry way. Buy a truck and find out it isnt for you, then you gotta figure out a way to sell it to get out from under the payments. Maybe depending on where you live might help you sell it quicker but a buddy of mine is trying to sell a truck and trailer and almost a year and a half later, its still sittin in his driveway.... Or, you let it get repo'ed.... Leasing's not that bad. But it isnt for everyone. With a post like that, somethin tells me YOU better steer clear of a lease deal because I bet you'd become a statistic real quick....

See, you had an intellegent post up untill this^^^^ point......

With that being said, "I'm" being screwed as well? If they were "screwing" so many drivers, dont you think OOIDA would be all over them like hair on a gorilla???

    Mormons and the Mafia..........

I gotta sit and ponder than one for a while.

    :biggrin_2551:WoW, Zen, just WoW!
The post you've resurrected by Turbo Trucker ought to be an eye opener for those with eyes wide shut. It appears that even the best of the best at CRE need to watch their backs for attempted stabbing.

I wonder if the powers that be CRE are aware that Corneileous is posting his CRE experience(s) here at TTR? If not, and they were to find out, I wonder how that'd set with them? Would they approve? Or not? And if not, what would their reaction be?

Be careful, Corneileous. Your good intentions could turn around and bite'cha in the buttox. As much as I want to read about a CRE success story, I wouldn't want you to jeopardize that success if those in charge at CRE take a dim view of those who provide inside information. They hold your future and potential success in their hands. Hands with the power to squeeze the life out of those they deem to be a thorn in their side, who merely present the truthful facts.

You might want to consider abandoning your play-by-play accounting of your CRE experience. I doubt anyone here would blame you for doing so. It's your future at stake. And a driver's future at CRE doesn't seem to concern them, at all.

Workin' for CRE is one thing, but to defend CRE's practices is another. If y'all are aware that they're a scum-bag operation, and still decide to take a chance, --- good luck. But to say CRE has been good to y'all begs the question, how long will the good times roll?

I admire your determination, Corneileous. I just hope your chosen company treats you the way you deserve to be treated. With honesty, respect and fair treatment. But it seems honesty displayed by their drivers isn't appreciated or tolerated.

It's as though the hierarchy at CRE view all others as lowly peons who's only purpose is to serve them in whatever capacity they can be used. Once they deem that usefulness to be expended, they'll spit y'all out and kick y'all to the curb, --- unexpectedly, with no reason given. Just because they can.

It would be interesting, I think, to know the statistics concerning how many members of The Church of Latter Day Saints are among those who fail to succeed at CRE, compared to those who aren't members. Mormons are well known for looking out for their own, even, or especially, at the expense of non-Mormons who could be considered inferior and beneath them. But, I'm sure it's politically incorrect to speculate and/or inquire about that possibility. Might even be considered hateful, ---- by those with something to hide.
So let's forget that subject was even brought up.
Instead, let's just ignore the possibility that it's true.
Ain't nuthin' we can do anything about it, anyway.
    Ya reckon.

763 bad company posts and then the 1 year rookie cheerleader shows up! 1 to 763. Lets believe the cheerleader even counting the posts you brought over from Ripoff Report over the all the other posters as they are liars and can't do the jobbers with some having way more experience than a 1 year rookie! ROFLMFAO!

Sorry people but I just have to yank cornelouses chain as he's the lone picture of success at CRE! He just to darn embarrassed to tell us he's barely hanging on and can't admit to failing! He'll stay there, his wife and him riding in that POS FL until they pay the final payment then they'll still stay on there as they won't know how to move on to a real company! But as a cheerleader #### he's almost good! He has his nose so far up someones six his neck is brown! Thats probably how he's making it as a paid cheerleader! Click on his screen name and go back and read his posts! Try not to fall to the floor to hard LYFAO! How does the old saying go? Pride before the slam to the ground or is Pride before the fall?

    Could it be
    The Bigger They Are
    The Harder We Fall?

I don't get the impression that Corneileous is recruiting for CRE, or even encouraging anyone to follow in his footsteps. He's merely describing his CRE experience from the inside. I don't know what possessed him to be so candid, but I'm glad he is.

As readers and fellow Big truck truck drivers who offer advice on the side, at what point do we stop telling, or reminding Corneileous that we think he's makin' a mistake that's already been made and start bein' a tad more supportive?

He can't afford to lose a positive attitude.
And we don't want to see him fail, ....... right?
At this point, I think there's nothing too constructive about keeping Corneileous on the defensive trying to defend what may well be indefensible. There's a chance if he were discovered doing what he's doin', it could go hard on him. I appreciate that.

    Let's not shoot the messenger
    and ignore the message.
    Ya reckon.
