Highly doubtful that you will be parked long enough to watch these things on a regular basis.

Suggest you consider the satellite radio systems. I think xmradio has them, but I do not follow sports so I do not know.

You are going to be parked a minimum of ten hours per day, and it's likely you end up with more free time on a regular basis. up to you if a satellite tv system is worth it.

If you want cable TV in your truck, you will need a very long cable on a very large spool behind the truck cab.:biggrin_2559:

You can get Direct TV for your truck with the NFL package. Just have to decide which sat dish configuration to get. Regular dish on an adjustable pole behind the cab or VueCube, and a subscription to DTV.
Oh, and a 60" flat screen on the back wall of the sleeper.:biggrin_255:

i would really try and learn all you can about trucking while you are in school, let all that other stuff come later, you can listen to the games on sat. radio for about 12 dollars a month. lots of luck in your new job choice.

If you've got money and you're serious and don't mind dealing with DirecTV for your home service and a contract (not sure about the contract)

    http://www.kvh.com/tcm/

there are rooftop mountable antennas, then carry a receiver and get a package that incled NFL Season Pass from DirecTV.

    CCJR76 Thanks this.

Rinaudo, the company whom I drive for heavy haul.. 98% of the people we deal with are M-F 8-5 the weekends(like im sitting now in Troutman, NC til tomorrow, got here Fri night) are when we get our 34 hr reset, which happens to be the same weekends football is on, so I think i'll have plenty of time to watch my Noles open up cans of whip a#@ on whomever they play..
