Well I picked up a cabover today, with the intention of parting it out.
After looking at it I am on the fence now. lol Not too sure what I should do with it.

You might as well sell it to Africa or something.

We have a bunch of old cabovers rotting quietly in salvage. Some for 20+ years. I can remember one on Route 31 south near I40 that had a tree growing quietly in it these last 15 years.

Or restore it and enjoy taking it to shows.

Or possibly use it to take 53 foot trailers through Manassas to defeat their 65 foot rule with it.

Yea, I am not 100% sure what I am going to do, one guy has already contacted me wanting the headache rack with the flat drom .
When I bid on it I just assumed that it had airtrac suspension and it with the lockers would bolt under my log truck, but turns out it has low air suspension instead.
I have better uses for most of the components, but the cab is straight and not bad at all, kind of a shame to cut it up in a way.

I never priced a new cabinover, but it is a 99 model, I doubt it could be bought then for that, especially speced out the way it is.
