I think PA is 15mph over also and from what I read, any reckless driving charge is an automatic suspension of a license. So I'm glad PA has the distinction between careless and reckless.
Careless vs Reckless

Most states 15 over is reckless driving and you can be arrested. It's up to the discretion of the officer. Act like a butt and he might just put the cuffs on you. Act like somebody and he might purposely lower it to 10 over.
That stuff is for 16 year olds. One needs to respect their CDL if they are going to keep driving for a living. -
Back in 2004 I was driving my RX7 which had just over 500hp as it started to rain one day. My clutch was a 4 puck racing clutch with a 3000 lb pressure plate, it was engaged or disengaged and you couldnt really slip it. Well, Im stopped at a red light on a slight hill turning left and there is a cop beside me going straight, the light turned green and when I started to turn my rear tires barely spun, maybe a full rotation or two. The cop pulled me over and gave me a ticket for careless driving, even though I told him why it happened and it wasnt intentional. He seemed to believe it was...lol. I told him if it was I wouldve smoked the tires off this thing. Anyway dam cop cost $200 dollars...shouldve fought it. If i knew then what I know now I would have.
