When you get there before you touch it inspect it for any and all damage, even if it might be damage make sure you document everything, take pictures if its not classified, then do a walk around with your phone in movie mode it may save your butt.
They may have a form for you to document the craft before and after transport, by all mean take all the time you need before you touch it.

We hauled quite a few UH-1 Hueys from Tucson Arizona to a rebuild facility in Oregon a couple of years ago.
We tied to the skids with padded straps at points designated by the shipper. The customer also had a man on site for the first few loads to make sure everything was tied down properly. He was very fussy but I can understand his concern.
The mast was still attached but the rotor head, main rotors, and tail rotors were carried in heavy metal containers specially designed for the job.Last edited: Apr 1, 2019

Had one at Hughes that they took off from the trailer, 500sc. Was kind of weird
