Any info on the terminal out of Dayton? Im about 2 hrs north of there.
-
I think I've mentioned it before, but have you ever checked out Fab Express? They haul corrugated, and have terminals all over Ohio, based out of Illinois. I think they run 3 or 4 states. If you put your location in your profile, you'd get a lot more replies. Some of us "Buckeyes" look out for one another, ya know~! There's many of us, that all do various things in the industry. Just saying, locale would help.
So would your choices of freight you would prefer to haul, and what you have hauled. I read most of the background, and I get it, but... just helping others help you, man. -
Not a problem. Thanks for the heads' up. I live in Defiance about an hour east of Fort Wayne, IN and an hour sw of Toledo.G13Tomcat Thanks this.

I know this state like the back of my hand, unfortunately, LoL. Been to Defiance many times. Check out The Shelly Company in Toledo, that is their main plant, and they are ALWAYS hiring, especially in YOUR neck of the woods~! Some may be class-B dumps, all paving related equipment in and out; even heavy-haul.
Were I not in my own gig hauling in and out of there for a private small fleet with an O/O, I'd have gone with Shelly long ago. They've tried to hire me away a time or ten, LoL.
Check out their website, navigate around, and see if that helps. Age is usually not a restriction with them; they are "kindof" a sister company to Kokosing (which is here by me ) where my brother retired from.
Maybe you'll find a diamond in the rough. Excellent company; I deal with them every day! -
They have a quarry about 3 miles from my house. See dumps in and out of there all day long. Looking for more regional out 5-6 with home on weekends. Thanks for the info.G13Tomcat Thanks this.

Yw, and that's where the big-guns in Toodliedoo might be something to look into~!
It's a huge pillar in the industry here in Ohio. Worth "picking thru" the details / data and see if they might have something you are looking for, more specific.
Best to ya; will follow your thread either way.

You would have to check their openings by calling recruiting. They have solo which is daily routes...some solo overnight routes and of course team 4-5 day routes.

Did you ever check out Shelly, or even Kokosing???? Paving is BIG right now, especially since somebody burned up 75 in Dayton with a tanker fire. There's a thread on that; don't know many details other than Gunner's post.. further info on WHIO perhaps?

Saw the video cam on that explosion....
