    Hi guys

So I had a PM done at the Glade Springs VA Petro, and they really fouled it up. Overfilled the oil, got oil all over the engine, etc. Went to another TA and had them redo the oil, but ever since that I am having hard starting issues. Seems that the fuel system is not staying primed. Every time I shut off the truck for a while, I have to pump the little pump next to the fuel filters, otherwise it has a real hard time starting.

Is there anything obvious or easily solvable that the clowns at Petro might have messed up? I checked the tightness of the fuel filters, they seem to be fine. The big transparent fuel filter holds fuel overnight, it doesn't drain back into the tanks, but when it's running there are bubbles coming up from the bottom. Don't know if it's normal, never paid close attention to that filter before.

Thanks for any help, and avoid that glade springs Petro, at least on thanksgiving when they're understaffed.

They could've put the wrong fuel filter in there, or not put the O-ring on correctly under the clear plastic cover and your engine is losing prime.

    PermanentTourist Thanks this.

Cracked fuel filter cap the small one , overtightened , and check other 2 fuel filter covers for small cracks sometimes hard to see , had this issue before

You fuel bowl is more than likely sucking air. Go back to Petro or TA, and tell them to fix their problem.
