The four we replaced were all 2010's mileage between 245,000 and 390,000 "miles" and we are 100% interstate.

The Columbias were worse, we haven't had much problem with the newer ones, 2012 and newer, The older ones we had were the first years,2009s and no troubles noted with those, either. We have all full hood ones, none of the light weights.

The tank on a Columbia radiator would leak if it thought a rock or deer was going to impact it.

That's what I don't get, the 125" BBC and the 113" BBC (according to my Freightliner parts guy) are the same number?

As far as I know a metal cap is not available, I have dropped one of the radiators off at a rad shop, he is going to measure the tanks and see if he can get one to fit.

100% Interstate, however, with that said some of these interstate roads are rougher than Kansas dirt roads.

Go to the dealer and make sure you have the SB20-73 completed. this will give you new radiator mounts and a different radiator

    KANSAS TRANSIT Thanks this.

on 1/20/2015 freightliner started recall campaign for 10-12 cascadias. the recall number is SF503 A. stop by freightliner and check your vin. under this recall they will install TUNED MASS ABSORBER on your radiator frame . before installation they will check the radiator and if they will find signs of cracks you will get new slightly different radiator . my 12 cascadia has 330k miles and they replaced the radiator and installed that TUNED MASS ABSORBER free of charge yesterday.
