Can you pull start when you can't release the brakes?

No, you'll just drag the tires when you let the clutch out.

Back them off to unseize the corrosion from sitting then adjust them right back to the drum. That way they will release when you push the yellow button and when the F150 pulls you won't roll into it for lack of brakes. Or what Oscar said your steer brakes will catch you.

When I pushed the yellow and red button they both popped right back out within a microsecond.

Hold the button in and let it charge.

I carry a 50 ft air hose with a glad hand fitting I use for airing up tires but need be you could also hook it to an air supply if you had to for a situation like this. Handy thing to carry.

I was referring to charging up the air system to release the brakes when your truck wont start if someone else was nearby.

One thing to think about before you pull start one. Be sure it's not hydro locked,if it is and it tries to turn over, something will break.
