I rented an international lt from Ryder. Trying to figure how to hook up CB. They have green and white wires my cb has red and black. Anybody know what connects to what?

Use a test light or multi-meter before you ruin the radio or worse.

Test light. Safe way to go. Make sure your cb has a fuse inline just incase! 10-4

Couldnt find the cb thread I started. And didn't think starting a new one would be valid.
My question is. 2016 cascadias. Has the two wires identified. One ground and one power. The new to me cb does not have external post like my other one does. But it also has wires. I'm assuming the one with the fuse is the live wire.
What's the best to connect these. Caps. Electrial tape or but connectors?
Dont want to start a fire. Thanks in advance.truckdriver31 Thanks this. -
your truck or companiesfeldsforever Thanks this.

Butt connectors with shrink tubes are fine.
Also, just an FYI for the older posts, on Internationals, white is always ground, not power.truckdriver31 and MACK E-6 Thank this. -
You’d be the first rental truck I’ve ever seen or heard of with a radio in it.truckdriver31 and D.Tibbitt Thank this.
