    This is a thread in response to an earlier closed thread a guy made, I agree with him to a point, I cruised down 66 today through alot of construction on steep hills and blind turns, I must've warned 25 trucks, I got 3 responses back. I know my radio is clear as a bell, especially when I can see you. If I have the decency to warn you of situations ahead of you, Construction, Accidents, Bears, DOT, etc. You could have the decency to return the favor or atleast say thank you...:biggrin_25510:

    What if they were on the phone? Their radio would have been shut off!

    What if they were jamming to the stereo? Their radio would have been shut off!


    60% of the driver's out here don't run with their radio's on because of the trash that is spoken. 10% of the driver's don't have radio's because of the trash that is spoken. 15% run on different channels communicating with their buddy a mile back, because of the trash that is spoken on 19....

    I'm well aware of that red, I hate the crap that's on their myself, I keep my squelch turned up pretty high so unless your within a .5 mile to maybe a mile of me, Im probably not hearing ya. I just assume there's gotta be some guys out there that hear me and keep rollin'. The way they were running those construction jobs today, you had no clue until you rolled down a heck of a hill around a blind turn and came up on stopped cars...Hate to see anyone smoke off their brakes or worse yet wreck because of backed up traffic.

    Maybe they didn't understand you. Next time you need to say it in both English and Spanish. On second thought if they cant' speak or understand our language screw em!

    I have my radio off or turned down most of the time if someone is carrying on a lengthy conversation about their life story. I could care less and wish they would take it to another channel.

    All the crap I'm hearing now that I have a radio that works makes me wish it didn't. And just because you put something out on the air doesn't mean you're entitled to a reply.

    Most of the #### time I'm on the phone anyhow... So my CB is usually off unless I'm running with someone!

    I can't stand talkin on the phone while I'm driving, I like to turn up my radio and just listen to music and roll down the road. I do see my family every night though so I can completely understand why your on the phone.

    Well if what I put out on the air keeps you from running little old granny over while shes on her grocery run I'll be happy, even if I don't get a response at least I tried to warn you she was around that blind turn dead stopped. :biggrin_25524:

    It use to be fun having a CB and talking to drivers (before cell phones) but to much BS and BBR out their now wanting to know where you are so they can come over and beat your ### but I keep on telling them and nobody ever shows up. I miss those days before cell phones and GPS.

    I talk to other forum members, some woman I know, a ex girlfriend every once in awhile, & family....

    A lot of times it is other forum members.... we make fun of the people here on the forum & then attempt to be comedians until one of us is laughing so hard, we pee our pants!
