CDL Combination stamp/permit?????

Greetings, Does a full size pickup truck (chevy 3500) bumber pull towing a dual axle trailer with a combined weight over 26000 need to pass the combination written test? I just passed my general but am not sure if I need the combination. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
