BKD, a regional accounting firm headquartered in Missouri, stepped in as Celadon’s auditor after the company dismissed KPMG in October 2013. KPMG a year earlier had dinged Celadon for a material weakness in its internal controls—a finding that led the company to restate financials for fiscal 2011 and two quarters of 2012.

BKD pocketed $693,000 in fees, according to a company proxy statement. That’s $444,000 more than it received two years earlier and more than double what KPMG had been getting.•

 

And if there's an investigation or worse case scenario a trial into Celadon I wouldn't be surprised if there are some "material witnesses"/whistleblowers from KPMG that may be called to testify. Food for thought.

 

Did you read the last few lines of that article? It says this article is the "opinion" of the author.. I've read many other articles where other analysis of this authors article has said: they disagree with a lot of what he said in that.. the trucking truth article on May 8th is fact based and not biased..
