My buddy got the same ticket in MI. Paid $300 to lawyer and they changed it to a parking ticket or something like that for $150. Total cost $450, nothing on the MVR.

Well the best chance on a certin answer is call the ncpd (btw company probably wont get fined)

Yep, that's my understanding. I've never gotten one of these but I remember there was a LOT of discussion on this when it was enacted.
$2750 for the driver & $10,000 for the company.
