    Hi I am based in Gaborone,Botswana and I am into trucking.I have a problem with one of my Volvo horses FM12.It stopped charging the batteries,i then put a new alternator but still having the same problem.Any advice anyone can give me?I would really appreciate it

    Whats the alt output voltage? Is it really not charging them or is there just some short draining them really fast? Also get the batts tested.

    it's possible that the batteries are bad. not taking a charge.

    like above mentioned. test the batteries.
