you actually get one for free each year. you pay for a copy if you already got your free one. i get a free copy each january or february....
now, a criminal background check (in my state) costs $10, one has to pay each time, no freebies.
a DMV report, costs us here $20, each time, no freebies.
we are even entitled to a free yearly credit report.....

You should also get a copy of your PSP report. It shows all of your DOT Inspections for the last 3 years

Dac and psp are all you need
Mvr if you have citations. $6 in my state. That's 3 years or lifetime. My understanding is companies want 10 years for new hires. How true that is i have no idea. That's just my understanding from the mvr clerks. -
