I have a question. When you guys drop these trailers at Craftsmen, then what happens to them? Does Climate have city shag drivers?

typically when you do a drop n hook. You'll drop your loaded trailer and pick up one of the empties on your way out. Then next driver. Will pick up the trailer you left. Since it is now empty. When he drops his loaded trailer. rinse and repeat.

 

Thanks for the response, but that’s my question, I don’t think I worded it very well. How are the loaded trailers getting empty? Craftsman is just a drop yard right?

 

sorry. my bad on that. I was assuming a receiver. Not a drop yard. I'd suspect they'd have it repowered by another driver. We do the same in places. Like CA. For example. I had to get to our yard in DFW, TX. So I grabbed a load from San Antonio and brought it here. Another driver on the yard was dispatched to take it the rest of the way. In some states, companies will have local drivers, too. They'll grab the early arrivals and deliver them when they are due.

 

We have a few local drivers I believe.
