Have my W900L at a repair shop right now to fix the Cruise control and Idle set controls in the smartwheel. They found that the clock spring was faulty and replaced it. It seemed to work at first but then they found it would drop off RPM slowly and not hold RPM while driving with cruise control. The idle set would not work correctly either but it would pick up on resume after having been set for cruise but would also drop rpm slowly. The brake and clutch would shut it off immediately as it it supposed to. They are having difficulty finding the issue before ordering another new clock spring suspecting the one they installed could be faulty. Hope that all makes sense, I am just trying to help them figure it out because I'm stuck at home. Anybody know better what the problem may be?
