cobra 29 LTD. Can't keep it tuned.

    Cobra 29 LTD.
    I tune it. Seems to be good. Channel 1 and 40. Both 1.3-1.5. Shut down. W.hen I go back to it. It is out of wack again. I am using one of the Midland thru the glass antennas. Could this have anything to do with it.

    Probably so. Don't ever use a thru glass CB antenna.....geez they have to be the worst of the worst.

    Get yourself an external mount CB antenna of some type. I recommend the Wilson 2000 trucker series. Don't foget good coax too....RG8X is your friend.
