CDOT conducting runaway ramp survey in response to fiery, 28-vehicle pileup crash caused by rookie driver
I found this nifty survey from CDOT seeking responses from drivers spurned by that senseless crash in 2019 because a driver failed to use an EER.
No free cinnamon rolls from Johnson's Corner for replying to the survey.![]()

That must be the pile up that @Happily Retired posted about the other day in another thread
PacoTaco, Flat Earth Trucker and Pamela1990 Thank this. -
I've driven both ways on I-70 this week. The signage about the ramps and watching your speed is pretty clear for anyone who can read English. I don't know what else CDOT can do.

I have been across 70 countless times over the years... I've seen those ramps get used a few times ..but I've seen more idoits burn down trucks rather than use the Oh Crap Ramps
When I 1st moved to Greeley Co. and started hauling in & out of the ranchs on the skinny roads I realized it would be in my best interest to mosey on down to the Peterbilt dealer and trade trucks for 1 with a brake saver too cause I needed more than Jake's & courageLast edited by a moderator: Nov 23, 2021
