Voltage issue on my Comfort Pro. Repaired the alternator. Worked fine for a day, then the APU shut off and can't restart since then. Any idea?

It won't crank? Or it cranks and won't start?
What did you do to the alternator?
You know about the wire on the alternator that always goes bad on Carriers? The one between the alternator and the starter solenoid? -
It cranks but doesn't start.
The bearing on the alternator was broken. I replaced it.
Would you have a picture of this wire? Not sure I noticed this wire. -
There is a single wire that goes from the alternator to the starter. I believe it's the only single wire there is. the other wires are grouped into a plug. This wire is too small and will eventually burn out.

Will look for this wire.
Thanks for the wiring diagram.
Could that be a bad capacitor too? -
I finally found out that this wire was broken. Thanks a lot for your help.
The APU starts and runs perfectly but it doesn't produce any power. Only for charging the battery.
Any idea? -
There is a circuit breaker on the bottom of the generator. You may have to take off the bottom case to get to it. It's just a red button. -
Tried that also. Breaker is in. No power on the extension plug and the A/C doesn't come on.

No fan at all or just no AC compressor?
The generators go bad sometimes, but that's usually a case of bad bearings and you should be able to feel the pulley wobble while the belt is loose, and there is usually some noise. The capacitors also go bad sometimes. I don't know how to test for that, but I don't think a capacitor costs that much. The symptoms of a bad capacitor (or bad generator) are no fan, no AC, no heat, no 120v.
