Comtrak Memphis, TN

SH42 - I am leased to them out of Birmingham, Al. Mileage pay. 1.05 per mile loaded plus 100% fsc, .89 per mile empty and bob tail plus 1/2 of the fsc. FSC is recalculated every week. Over 2,000 miles per week they add another .03 cpm for loaded miles. Safety bonus every quarter. Birmingham o/o will avg 2300 miles per week, 60 % loaded 40% empty. Rand McNally miles. I have been there a month. Came off of otr work. I am home every night. Last week I had just over 2300 miles. About 90% drop and hook. They run Qualcomm (no cost to you) and you have to run legal. I have only pulled one load over 20,000 lbs since I leased on. They pay for Cat scale costs. They suit me just fine so far. They seem to be really nice people. They also have a highway division out of Memphis.

 

Did you go through orientation in B'ham or did you have to go to Memphis?

I did 1/2 day orientation in Nashville. Then I spent a day riding with a Nashville based O/O learning the paperwork and Qualcomm. It was a week later they had me bobtail to Memphis and put my QC in the truck. I am enjoying the company and the work. I really got tired of OTR.

 

anyone tried comtrak out of philly area?

 

Looking to get info on Comtrack Memphis Terminal Highway Division,miles ,pay, how long you out , forced dispatched etc... Thx in advanced.

Hi, Im out of memphis, tn and thinking about doing the third party leasing. Do you think it is worth it and how much do you think my bring home pay will be after fuel, truck note, escrow and what ever else.

 

My husband was leased on in KC. So can't say how Memphis terminal runs. But he ran fairly good with them up here. Never really had a problem with anything, Heart of Dixie told you the current pay. He hasn't been with the company for a couple of years now. The truck motor blew. So yea, I would check them out. He would still be with them if we could have gotton another truck.

 

one of my racing freinds from years ago does chicago to green bay everyday, is that a stable work flow GB to chic? I used to do georgia pacific dedicated and ran into or passed by him couple times a week with GP.
