Why even waste my time here. I am sure it is Conways fault you weren't able to take care of a family that large before? Between this and the village idiot it's time for me to write this thread off.

 

geez I came here because I was thinking of signing on with con-way after seeing this I don't know if these are the kind of people I would want to work with.

 

I guess my best advice then would be quit while your ahead,,no one has lied to you ,not a one,we are not like Swift,SNI,WERNER,etc... where every other driver is a "trainer",we have a select group of Drivers that do it,,,

What did you expect after your stint with your trainer??? your still going to be out on the road for near a month at a time

maybe Conway isnt for you,try the above companies i listed Im sure they will treat you better

If you want the truth + good advice then it's not a problem. We have a more select set of criteria for who is allowed to train, and they are trained on how Conway wants them to train. You may get lucky and get right out with a trainer, you may have to wait a little while, but you will get GOOD training.

If you want to whine, *itch, and complain then no it isn't the right company. I can tell you that everyone I have interacted with as far as office personnel goes has been professional and courteous. The only disgruntled employees I have met were at the Joplin yard each time I have been there. However, I saw the same thing with FFE, what you call yard birds.

You have it real luck compared to what folks go through at England and Swift. At swift they room you two compared to having your own room during and after orientation. During school, they put four to a room. Also, Swift does not pay for meals where Conway does. You have it lucky here. Conway is a good company and many who did their research will attest. I wish you good luck in trucking.
