I lost my Detention Pay because it was over the 24 hours. I sent in my Layover but haven't heard anything yet. Still gotta sit till Tuesday late afternoon. I will get to the consignee about 1600 and wait, my appt is 2130. So we will see if I will get anything. Tomorrow I will send in another Layover and wait.

Taino, were you under load the entire 24 hours, or just forgot to send it in in time?

trying to but ill prob get screwed on this. It seems every ####### place now im sitting 3+ hours to get loaded or unloaded im tired of that... its not called for at all.. they been running me east coast so u get #### miles have to work extra hard to even get decent miles. im really just upset right now. they got me a load going 320 miles for del 2moro ill prob sit after that into friday...
Reason declined was cuz i was late? due to get a trailer fixed? come on now... pretty sure they didnt like the msg i sent back.

#edit.. after the holidays i think im putting in my 2week notice.

Thanks Pete...directions tell us to cross at Calais, Maine into St. Stephen, NB...don't know why people in a job dealing with the public feel a need to be rude. Are the fees the same at all the border crossings? Is it cash only?

Calais, you have to wake up the customs guy to get the gate open. Never been there but I hear it is pretty quiet...The further from Windsor, it seems the easier it is.
