Coolant hose leak

    Hey fellas. 2017 Cascadia with dd13. I got my egr cooler cleaned a month ago and today this hose started leaking. Does it look like I can tighten this hose or should I just replace it? Does anyone know where this hose goes? Thanks in advance!!!

    That type of connection has rubber orings inside of it. You may be able to get away with replacing the orings but I would just replace it.

    At this juncture I am unsure about where the other end goes but it should be easy to find with a flashlight and a pair of eyes.

    Is it normal maintenance to have an EGR cooler cleaned? Never heard of it being done is all.

    I’m not sure if it’s normal, but the shop recommended it. I will say before cleaning it was super nasty.

    Those chicken #### quick connect hoses are usually just easier to replace.
