This engine has 3 active codes:
    Abnormal Rate of Change ([SPN=3216])
    Input Voltage Low ([SPN=3216])
    Abnormal Rate of Change ([SPN=5024])
Can anyone tell me what these codes mean?
The engine is running fine and strong getting good MPG. Don’t seem to be too serious but the light is on......?

I ran an X15 without issues, then I got into this one. The Driver's Information Center (DIC) reports it as an ISX 2. Its the 15L 500 hp, 1850 tq. Its in a 2017 Pete 587.

@Goodysnap Here's a little update for you.....Maybe you need to do a little reading.....
    • 587: The EPA SmartWay® certified Model 587 features an integrated cab and sleeper that matches luxury with efficiency and productivity. The spacious and ergonomic cab interior provides plenty of legroom, swivel seats, dual arm rests and easy access to switches and power controls for added comfort and convenience. It includes a full 30-inches of walk-through space between the seats, offering easy access to a sleeper that surrounds the driver with functional amenities and accessible storage space such as cabinet enclosed closets and under-bunk storage.[citation needed] The 587 is available in two sleeper lengths: raised roof, mid roof and a daycab. The 587 is still manufactured.
Yep sounds like what I got here......Wanna pic of the data Plate?

    My Bad.....have a great 4th.

Your copy and paste from Wikepedia as current models is not accurate info as of today.

You must have one of the last ones as I cant recall ever seeing a 17'

If I can assist with the codes, please share a Cummins printout and I will offer what I can.

Sounds like it needs to go to the stealership. I was thinking of pulling the power at the battery but I’m leaning towards a trip to the shop with it......

June 30 2017 was the last made date for a 587. When the 567/579 was introduced sales hit a sharp decline. Dont recall i have seen one later then a 2016

At the dealership. ECM indicated bad knock sensor. Replaced and parked out front “Ready to go” Checked it over, all looks good. Cranked her up. Alternator not charging. 12.2v mechanic can’t figure out why. Shut it down tried the Tri-Pac. It runs but alternator don’t start charging either. Usually see 13.8 - 14v now down to 11.5v I think they broke it. They say they get 13.8 at the alternator but the batteries aren’t charging any. What happened here?
