I got an cel on my Isx motor and the code read "Crankcase Pressure " . I took out the old filter wich were really bad and full of oil and replaced it with the 'no maintenance ' newer one. Started it up and the cel was gone. Drive it for about 30miles and it pop up again . Truck runs normal and no overheat or oil pressure issues. Any advise off where else the problem might be ?

Wiring to the crankcase pressure sensor is probably faulty. Sensor is in the top LH of the filter assembly. Pull the loom off and inspect the wires, also give them a pull test, lots of times they are broken internally an just stretch out and snap. Dealers will sell a pigtail and pins for it. P/N 5299153

This is providing the current check engine light is still for the crankcase pressure. Might be worthwhile to get it on a laptop so you arent chasing your tail
