2000 Volvo VNL 770 N14 Red Top Eaton Fuller Transmission My volvo is a semi automatic because it has a clutch wich you only use for engaging gear 1 or 2 depends on what gear you want to start after he shift automatically... I’m having a issue where the truck gets stuck in a gear while running at any speed in any gear and it doesn’t shift down and it doesn’t respond to the pedal when you trying to accelerate and it doesn’t go to neutral and it will turn off because clutch doesn’t work either then i turn it off remove the positive from the battery after 10 put back on and works perfect after a while driving it it starts doing the same thing.. This is the code im getting in the cluster Transmission SID = 231 Mech Syst No Respons Active Count 1 MID 130 SID 231 FMI 7 Any help will be very appreciated!!

There are some things that you can attempt to diagnose and repair yourself. An Eaton Autoshift transmission is not one of them, especially if you do not know what an xy shifter is. I admit that I could have worded my response in a much better way. For that I apologize. My intent remains. Get some help at a shop that has Service ranger software and knowledge of that system.
