CVSA asks for PC time limit

That'd be great. Everybody running 20-hour days 4 hours sleep. Bring back the high speed chicken feed.

 

Ninety percent of the workforce wouldn't make it past the first inspection.

 

I don't get why I can drop a trailer, then PC home Bobtail, then PC back Bobtail to that previous drop location for my next pickup, and that's legal. But are you guys saying you can't Live Unload at a receiver, PC home with your trailer, then PC back to that previous Unload location to Live load?

 

I don’t know about you but I sure as hell am seeing more accidents now than in the past when we were on paper.

 

Might have something to do with there being many more cars on the road now than then.

 

Has moar to do with dumbing everything down so much.

 

Cell phones are the reason.

 

With paper you never had to play beat the clock like you do now. The gps puts you in real time. That is why everyone speeds and is wreckless. Gotta go, gotta go, got tto get there before the bells and whistles go off is all that is on their minds.

 

Give each driver 11 hours a month to do whatever they want with them. If they want to use it to work use it to work if you want to use it for personal reasons use it for personal reasons. Simple is beautiful.

 

You don’t have to use an ELD and log PC when exempt, you can log out and drive if you choose since you’re not required to have a log when exempt.
