Just ran a DAC report from hireright as I like to monitor that as false information can be put on there. Hireright told me no company has reported anything about. Granted I’m only in my first year of driving but have not not had any reportable accidents of any kind. As long as I don’t have any accident regardless of fault can anything bad still end up on report that might cost me an opportunity down the road?.

The company's don't report till you quit, because that office gal has better things to do.
You already know what you done wrong, that's what's in your company file. All those little incidents, like scraping a trailer.
Don't bother checking dac for false info till after you quit and they have reported.snowwy Thanks this. -
I have one company who left a very encrypted remark, something on the lines of "not sure if we would rehire this driver". Not to the point, but could make others think there's something wrong. I had quit after two months, percentage pay was not to my liking. Oh, well.

If you have something to say then say it crystal clear or it should be bounced right off of DAC.
So a simple, "this place is not for me", turns in to a nasty personal comment from some loser in a chair somewhere!!???Just passing by Thanks this. -
One thing i would suggest is, when you leave your company (or any company), always give two weeks notice and make sure the truck is clean and returned to whatever location they demand. I have heard so many horror stories of guys getting nailed for truck abandonment even if they left it at a company yard (but not the yard they wanted it at, know what I mean?)
Dan.S Thanks this. -
If DAC had any credibility at all they would contact the occupier of that chair and author of that comment and tell them to either clear up that remark or remove it.
If they don't respond or comply then DAC should remove the comment themselves!
I bet that entire system is a out of control mess with zero chance of cleaning up ever. -
I have 1 that says eligible for rehire upon review. I have another that says no.
Those will more then likely be the only 2 dac companies I ever work for. I have no desire to work for mega fleets when there's so many more companies that DON'T use dac.
It usually takes 90 days or possibly longer to show up. Could be shorter. But usually not IMMEDIATELY. Upon saying goodbye for whatever reason.Just passing by Thanks this. -

The only things hireright had on me was background checks from my previous jobs before getting into trucking. So only after quitting a job would I have to worry about what’s on my dac report.
