    Hello
Im a week out from starting my training in Dallas TX. Ive already completed my ua and hair screens and am just waiting for my background to process (no worries or suprises there).
Is there any particulars I should be aware of for training and or things i should bring in particular. I have already received my offer letter for the costco acct as well.
Looking forward to starting a new adventure and career with the big orange.
    thanks

Mmmm Dallas in July. Dallas can be brutal. Think HOT and HUMID and pack accordingly. Pack a light weight rain coat for those days of frequent thunderstorms. Don't forget deodorant. Very little is worse during training than having to put up with a skanky smelling individual in the heat in a truck while you practice backing and road time. A good hat with a wide brim that will keep the sun off the top of the ears and the nose when you are standing out on the tarmac listening to your instructor. Schneider will provide you a new pair of work boots (approved footwear). Have good socks that absorb moisture. Your feet will take heat from the pavement.

    jburton and alexx0371 Thank this.

Bring bed sheets, blanket and pillows.
Lots of people forget this, it's not your trainer's responsibility to provide bedding for you.

    jburton Thanks this.

I was planning on a sleeping bag and a top sheet if it gets too hot. Rather than the full spread, ill save that for my own truck
