Any recommendations for an easy install dash cam? Inward facing cameras need not apply

All of them are easy install for the most part.

before you buy make sure it has good quality image and is friendly when it comes to transferring data.

I briefly used a Gamin Dash Cam 45 before retirement. I didn't really use it long enough to form an opinion. It did require installing an app on phone and IIRC all settings and watching videos was done on the phone/tablet. No complaints, bought at Loves.

I have the Garmin in all five of my vehicles

you put their app on your phone and you can download the videos easily to show the responding officers .

    and it’s voice activated

if you wanna save a video or take a photo you just tell it what to do

Ive had my garmin dash cam going on 7 years now. Never failed, good image, good speed indications and has saved my ### in 2 wrecks now. Only downside is those little SD cards go bad after a year or two so should be addrd as a standard line item to replace.
