Having used only TruckersEdge so far, I must say that it feels a a little outdated (resembles a spreadsheet done by an IT dude in the 1997 when Windows 95 ruled the world), in this age of fancy smart phone apps I'd expect something more dynamic. T.E. does have all the data I need but I have to mundanely sift it out and find a desired info. What I am looking for is to be able to look at data contained already in the loadboard from different angles. For example, if I look for a load from Elk Grove Village, IL to Cincinnati, oh I would like to have all best rate loads (last 90 days) outgoing form there at one click away. Or how about showing me load/truck ratio to various regions. I am thinking to sign up to either Power or ITS Pro as I was told they are fancy schmancy. I tried to sign up to DAT Power 15 minutes earlier but to my surprise there has to be a sales person involved, who will contact me during the working hours. Am I buying equities, or signing up for a loadboard? Maybe I'll try ITS Pro instead after I stop typing this. So if you used them both, which loadboard do you find more juicy?

I use DAT 99% of the time, rarely get to use ITS anymore. Their site is slow, buggy and has much less loads

^^^ what he says agree 100%. I've had both and will take DAT Power hands down a much better website. There is (or was with me) no sales person involved they do however have first class customer service and product support. They will give you a tutorial over the phone.

I would suggest even if you are relatively savvy with these things to take the tutorial the time is well worth it learning a lot of in's and out's with Power. They will even periodically call and check with you to see how things are going. Or you can call them and get answers.

Heck you can even call and have them post your truck for you and/or search available loads giving you a rundown on that. They offer that if you are in one of those areas with poor/limited internet service. Lots and lots of useful info on it and imo well worth the money for anyone who depends on spot freight.

My brokerage has software that lets me post to 50 different load boards instantly. The only reason I even know the login for Internet Truckstop is that it lets me see who clicked on my posts... Which is a pretty good list of people to call up.

I use DAT pretty much the entire day.

Signed up for DAT Power. Looks neat. I had a nice introduction by one their reps. Very patient to answer all my childish questions. The first impression is that I can finally see so many things at one glance.

My only complaint with DAT is they don't allow brokers to see who clicks on their loads. I loved that about ITS. It generates incoming calls on loads that interest me. Funny thing though I once had a broker who told me he saw where I clicked on his load on DAT. I asked him if he was sure about that as I also have access to a broker's version of ITS. And he said yes. I dunno. Have they changed that? I was curious.

Make sure you download the "DAT load board" app on your smart phone. It's a red icon. Way better than DAT mobile website on your phone. A really good load board app.

Interestingly back when I used to dispatch flats and hotshots we mostly used IT. People don't post all that many partials on DAT for some reason. At least that's what they told us. I, of course, post all my loads including partials on DAT.

I really wish I could see where inbound callers saw my loads. I bet we could cut 45 of the 50 or so load boards we use and not notice the difference.
