    Hey guys! Wondering if anyone could help or if there was a way to remove connected activity from the trucks ECM?..I screwed up and was trying to connect without the backdoor password...Now there are about 50 entries on the ECM....Any trick to clearing these or am I screwed?

    Connecting isn't really the problem. It's if you actually change the parameters or reprogram the engine. Then Detroit will freak out next time it's plugged into their system if it's still under warranty.

    it's ok to change parameters when truck is under warranty. You can't change something that will damage engine if you use standard or pro versions. The DL must be legal. When you use legal software they see who and when parameter changes were done. If DL is a cracked it will let 000000 in tool ID place. This will freak out Detroit. I have heard there is one more version of DL. The Engineering version. No independent user or shop has legal engineering version of DL. With this version you can play with many sensitive settings that can effect emission,..

    True, I have a legal Standard version. I was thinking in terms of using unlicensed versions that have deeper access.

    Yes I have the Version 8.09 Professional ...And was told using the keygen and backdoor password would not leave a trace...WRONG. This was a copy of an active shop version but I only changed road speed and bumped up RPM to 1900......It does show a tool ID other than 000000
    How long does the trucks ECU hold this activity.....forever?

    Long term lease truck....They do a print out at each service. Not sure what all that print out shows so I set parameters back to what they had them at before service....(slug mode)...lol!
